- artvolume1.org I am big on human rights & cognitive psychology. I admire, support & learn from talents in all arenas. Hatred, instilling fear & intimidation in others, abuse & abuses of power are never- excusable ways to solve problems, these are the most damaging, limiting & presently dire- flaws in human nature. "Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."( Partial quote by, N.Mandela ) What sets worlds in motion is the interplay of differences, their attractions and repulsions. Life is plurality, death is uniformity. By suppressing differences and peculiarities, by eliminating different civilizations and cultures, progress weakens life and favors death. The ideal of a single civilization for everyone, implicit in the cult of progress and technique, impoverishes and mutilates us. Every view of the world that becomes extinct, every culture that disappears, diminishes a possibility of life. By, Octavio Paz
